Price bars → confirmed swings → matching patterns.
- Gann · one-bar turns
- Inside bars retain the reference range. Outside bars expand it and wait for a one-sided break. An opposite resolved direction confirms the prior pivot.
- Bar count
- The number of observed bars between pivots. Inside bars count as elapsed bars. The initial incomplete leg and final developing leg are excluded.
- False break
- A swing breaks the prior confirmed high or low, then a later close returns inside it. The default looks for one-bar swings and a return within the next bar.
- Timing
- Pivot time marks the extreme. “Known at” is when both the pivot and rejection are confirmed. A drawn pivot was not necessarily known at that time.
Based on the TIA Gann methodology. Exact TIA edge-case parity is unverified. Equilibrium is a proxy for repeated one-bar swings; it does not prove a range.
